It's pretty amazing to witness peoples attitudes at church when the weather changes. For instance, lately we have had a lot of rain and people seemed to be in somber moods. Almost depressed. But when the sun came out people perked up. I know I feel that way sometimes. It gets crazier around the end of January and February with all the snow. People start to get cabin fever. Those two months are probably not the best ones to make life changing decisions. But the second April and May hits attitudes change and people go missing. As soon as the good weather hits people tend to take their vacations, go fishing or go to swap meets or something. Every year, without fail, the Weekend after Easter begins an exodus of people from the church. Being a smaller church when we lose a lot of people it seems like half the church is missing. This year isn't any different except we have had more visitors than usual. That is cool.
