Monday Morning Mantra

Had a great service yesterday. Easter is always a special time of year. This was the best. It is neat to see people who are hungry for God come and hear the good news. We did a very non-traditional service since we are a very non-traditional church. We started our iGod series and will continue with that for the next few weeks. Come check it out. We got something special planned.

I watched the Masters all weekend. It was ok. Tiger and Phil played some really good golf. But in the end it felt like any other tournement. On the upside I picked up a new Titleist wedge today. This should help me get to the pin better from the fairways.

I am really tired. One thing I have learned is that Easter is the pinnacle of the year for the church and that as a pastor, I tend to crash hard on the week after every year. So much anticipation and then it's over. Went right by. But I was really happy with our turnout and how well the service went.

Thanks Darrell and Jeanne for the Easter Bunny cake. It was very good and the kids loved it.

We had an Easter egg hunt at my house for the kids yesterday. My sister came over with her kids and her mother in law and brother and sister in laws to do it. Nice time had by all. BTW, Tim said my coffee was awesome and he wished he could have had more. I think he had two cups. RIGHT TIM???

Jack Baur is back tonight. 24 baby. Can't wait. Lisa picked up a copy of 24 the video game for my ps2. It's pretty sweet. Just like the tv show.
