Easter Service

We have been thinking, praying and planning for our first Easter Service as Riverstone Church this year. I am so looking forward to having a great day with everyone. We have done a lot to invite people to come and be a part of what is going on.

We did a community service project last week handing out Easter candy with invite cards. I think we gave out over 200. We also have given out over 100 personal invite cards from people in the church.

We also decided to send out invitations via mail. We sent out 12,300. The stats say that when you do mass mailing you should expect to get back about 1% return. If that is true we are looking at about 130 people coming to Riverstone for the very first time.

We also put out yard signs advertising the church, which have been very effective. And we put an ad in the paper this year to run for as long as we can afford it. The word is out and now all we can do is wait on God and see what happens. I believe it is God's will for our church to grow and that every seat in the theater should be filled because they represent souls.

Although we didn't advertise it, I'm thinking of doing something special for the end of the iGod series that we are doing. So keep your ears peeled for more information.
