The Bible never ceases to amaze me. I have been reading through 2 Kings 13 and came across a story about Elisha. It blows my mind, how God's power works through His people. The story goes like this:
"Then Elisha died and was buried. Groups of Moabite raiders used to invade the land each spring. Once when some Israelites were burying a man, they spied a band of these raiders. So they hastily threw the body they were burying into the tomb of Elisha. But as soon as the body touched Elisha's bones, the dead man revived and jumped to his feet!" 2 Kings 13:20-21 (NLT)
WHAT!!!!! The guy was dead and thrown into Elisha's tomb and when his dead body touched Elisha's bones he was resurrected. WHAT!!!!!! That just blows my mind. Don't tell me that you have God figured out because try to figure that one out. Too many Christians think they know God so well that He only works in the ways in which they have known Him to work. Guess what? God doesn't live in your theological little box. He doesn't have a box. That story just blows my mind.
