Monday Morning Mantra

We had a good service yesterday. I was actually pretty pumped about preaching. We concluded our series Right Here Right Now with a message about the future of Riverstone Church. It is our goal to be a church that plants new churches.

I think I am very ready for spring. The snow is getting tiresome. I have snowblowed my driveway twice in a 12 hour period. The only saving grace for this is that God has called me here and I know it beyond a shadow of a doubt. So I can deal with it.

Had a bunch of people missing church over the last month or so because of the ice storms and snow storms. Crazy stuff, but we are still doing our thing and God has been blessing it.

Man, finally we were able to secure the Claremont Indoor pool for our baptism. We will be having our first Riverstone church baptism on January 25th between 4:30 and 5 pm. Can't wait. Always awesome time.

I can't shake the feeling that tomorrow is the beginning of the end of what America was founded on. I don't know. Nothing personal against B. Hussein Obama, just feel like he may be the answer to Satan. :)

I was thinking today about playing golf. I cannot wait for spring. I must needs get out on the course and play. It's good for my soul and clearing of my head.

I am not planning on watching the Superbowl. I don't have a dog in the fight. So I could care less who wins. GO PATS!

Thanks for writing an interesting blog. You put into words some of my thoughts!

Before you dismiss the Superbowl, you should look into my old buddy Kurt Warner. Once you read a few articles about him, it's hard not to root for him.
