Monday Morning Mantra

Had a great service yesteday. I was so proud of our church. They stepped up in a pinch and helped us put together 10 baskets to give to 10 families in Claremont for Thanksgiving. It was awesome. We delivered the baskets last night. People were really suprised by how nice the baskets were and how full they were of food. I loved it when the little kids were looking on with wide eyes. They couldn't believe it. They all said thank you. It was awesome.

Well, the weather in NE has turned toward winter. It has been coooooold around here. It's probably going to snow with in the next couple of weeks. Not looking forward to that. I loaded the trailer for church on Sat. afternoon. Everything froze over night. The coffee makers wouldn't work. Lesson learned. And of course everyone wanted some hot coffee before the service. I felt so bad. But they got through it like troopers. ;)

Can you believe those NE Pats. Man they stomped on Miami. That was one of the toughest and best games I have seen in a long time. Matt Light got ejected from the game for punching out another player. And that play got ejected too. I don't know if I ever saw that before in football. At least not with the Pats. Wicked intense game. But the Pats pulled way ahead. I was very impressed with Cassel too. And that's something since I don't like him.

I'm meeting up with Gregg Randall today. He is the District Secretary Treasurer for the Northern New England AG. He's taking me out to lunch to get together. I hope I'm not in the woodshed for something. We'll see. :)

We are having Thanksgiving at my house this year. Most of my family are coming. It should be great fun. At least for me, Lisa is going to be doing a lot of cooking. My sisters will help though. Hope you have a great Thanksgiving Day.
