Weekend reflections

I went down to Mass. on Friday to do a wedding for a kid that used to be in my old church. He got married in an old 1830 Church building in Brimfield, MA. The place is beautiful and the wedding went well. The only issue was I got extremely sick just before the wedding. I literally had a bucket around the corner just in case I threw up during the ceremony. I was actually pretty scared I was going to hurl. But I prayed and had the grooms father pray for me and I made it through. I did get to see a few friends from my old church that came to the wedding.

We had a great service today. Been preaching a series called "No Reservations: Discovering God's Will". Today I talked about fellowship and belonging. What was great was after the service a bunch of people came up to me wanting to get involved in the church. It won't be long when we have a full band. We may have to buy another trailer just for the instruments.

My team and I have been playing a game called Settlers of Catan. It's too hard to explain the rules of play but let me just say these people get vicious every time we play that game. It's fun. but man, they act like freaks when we play.

I'm so tired that I'm hanging out and watching M*A*S*H tonight. Peace out.
