Monday Morning Mantra

We passed out 200 packets of flower seeds on Saturday at Market Basket. It was pretty well received. We got to talk to a bunch of people about the church. Unfortunately we had to cancel our "Movie Under The Stars" comeback event. It started thundering and lighting and raining. So we hung out and had a BBQ on Ginger and Sigs porch and watched the storm. Good times. We are going to reschedule the event.

The US Open was amazing this weekend. Yesterday was uneventful except for Tigers last put on the 18th green. So there is an 18 hole play-off today. That is very cool.

We are going to be meeting in the movie theater for the first time this coming Sunday. I am very excited to see how this comes together. We have been hearing from people all over who are excited and want to attended or become part of what we are doing. It's nice to start something that people want to be a part of and get involved. It got so frustrating trying to pastor a church where most people didn't want to help or be involved. They just wanted to show up on Sunday, go home and complain about how they want stuff done at church. I don't miss that one bit.

We are not only going to be the first movie theater church in Claremont but in the entire region. Between VT and NH I don't know of any that are farther north than Manchester. Sweet.

I had a good Father's Day just hanging out and watching the US Open. My mother-in-law made breakfast for us all. Emma and Anna made me some cards and got me the new Indiana Jones Lego Playstation game. It's pretty cool. Lisa also got me a new 18v cordless drill. I am going to be needing that for our new house. And then Lisa bought me some steak terriaki on sticks for the grill and some corn on the cob. Great dinner.
