We officially left Stafford Springs today at 5 pm. We have landed in Manchester, NH this evening and will be residing with my In-laws until we find suitable housing in Claremont.
We walked around our empty house and thanked God for such a wonderful place to live for the past 5 years. It was our first house, the place where we had both Emma and Anna, and the place where I was ordained as a pastor. We have many wonderful memories living there and I felt a profound sense of loss as we drove out of our driveway for the last time. I took the opportunity to walk around the back yard as the sun began to drift down behind the trees. I always loved that time of day in my back yard. It was nice to leave with that picture in my mind.
We also went out to the Cape on Monday and dropped Dude off with my sister Betty. He will have a wonderful new home. Now that I think of it, he has a better home than we do right now. We had a good time swimming in the pool at the hotel and going to the beach. The kids loved it and we collected sea shells for Emmas class.
We now turn the page on the next chapter of our lives as we continue to search for a new home, build a new church from scratch and pursue God's call on our lives. We thank you for your prayers and ask that you would continue to pray for us for a new home.
Our email no longer works but our cell phones are still the same. If you want my working email please leave me a comment and I will send it to you. Now I am going to bed. Our move was one of the craziest I have ever done. I need some sleep.
