Monday Morning Mantra

I LOVE IT. The Patriots killed the Cowboys and not one of my friends have anything to say. Oh btw Tim, I'll be looking for my new hat now. 6-0 baby.

I can't believe in two weeks we are finally out of here. We have been in limbo all summer waiting for a buyer, then when we get one and we have zero confidence in him. Now things seem to be going forward so we can actually start packing. Lisa and I will be packing full-time for the next two weeks to get this house squared away.

Emma gave us permission to give away their play scape to the neighbors. I told her we wanted to do that and she asked why. Told her it was too big to bring with us and the neighbors wanted it. She asked why. I told her they wanted to play with it and that we would get her a new one at our new house. So she said, "Ok, they can have it." I figured.

Fall has finally showed up temperature wise. With only two weeks before we move I'm thinking my golf season is over. I think I will clean my clubs up and put them away for the move. Stinks because the next two weeks will be nice to play but I just don't have time. Maybe I can sneek one round in. We'll see.

Anyone want a cat. My sister says she wants him but I don't know if she will be able to get here in time to pick him up. We can't take him with us so if I have to he will go to an animal shelter. Never liked that cat anyway.

Did I say that I can't wait to get to Claremont. I have been reviewing my ministry plan and I keep getting more excited thinking about what God is going to do. I tweaked the plan some more to get it ready to present to the district. I have a meeting in November with them.

We are still looking for prayer partners and financial partners for the launch. I have contacted many people but I am sure there are some that I forgot about. If you are interested please email me. I will send a monthly prayer letter and financial letter.

The church is the hope of the world. The world can offer everything the church offers except one thing, unconditional love. God chose the church to be his agent of love in the world. That is why Jesus said, "The world will know we are Christians by our love for one another." If you don't love your fellow Christians and are constantly judging them, you better check your heart for God. Because you are deceiving yourself.
