The family and I went to one of the bigger AG churches in the area today. It was nice to be able to sit and worship with my wife by my side. The kids had a good time too. When I am not preaching at churches Lisa and I are visiting churches we always wanted to check out. I didn't realize how tired I got from preaching for 7 years straight. It's nice to sit back and relax and not to have to worry about anything.
The other side of the coin is I get to see how churches treat visitors and how easy it is to find the children's rooms and what kind of decor and signage they have to give me ideas for Riverstone Church. I really, really cannot wait to get up to Claremont and get going on this. God has been speaking some things to me to share with the people there and I do have some time to get those messages together. The devil has been trying all his tactics with us to get us to change our minds but we are resolved this is the course God has for us. It is our destiny.
