I promised the author to give a review of the book in exchange for a free copy. So I have finished reading it. I have met Earl Creps on a couple of occasions when he was up here in Southern New England. I appreciated his talks and found them enlightening. As far as his book, I also found it enlightening. There was much said in this book that made me think and evaluate my own experiences. But some of the chapters left me thinking this was more of a textbook for seminary rather than a book of experiences. I enjoyed the stories Earl shared and did scan some chapters to get to the stories. So, is it worth the read? Yes. I will hang on to my copy and probably read it again.
