Easter Week

I don't know about you, but I am coming into Easter week with an expectation that God is going to do something big. Easter is about preparation, examination, and meditation.

So I am preparing myself for celebrating Easter by reading through the Gospel accounts of the Last Supper through Christ's Resurrection. Everyday I read a different Gospel.

For examination, I am asking God to cleanse my heart daily, and strengthen me against sin. I am working on relationships and trying to live out my faith before people.

And for meditation, that will come after Easter is over. I will think about what the week meant and review what God has spoken to me or has done in my life. I want to encourage you to do the same. Easter is the biggest time of year for a Christian. Prepare your hearts for what God wants to do in you.

"Therefore, purge our the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, since you truly are unleavened. For indeed, Christ, our Passover Lamb, was sacrificed for us. Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth." I Cor. 5:7-8

Be a new lump for Jesus this week. ;)
