Day 1

Well, Keith and I are having a good time here in Michigan at Rob Bell's church. We have already gone through the first couple of sessions and I have to say, he always gives me stuff to chew on. We also learned what a Michigan left means. Basically, you have to turn right and then take a left on the left turning lanes. Very odd driving rules. I still can't figure out how a flashing red light actually means to turn left. Odd. Besides my cold keeping me down and my ears being plugged from the flight over here we are having a blast. I will post some stuff that Rob said later tonight. Also I will get some pictures up of their church, which is a converted mall, by the end of the week.

How's the coffee and water, boys?

Dunkin Donuts has not impressed me here.

Since Joe regularly drinks the swill commonly known as Dunkin Donuts coffee, I wouldn't trust his recommendation on anything related to the fine art of coffee drinking. Plus, Joe's just mad that the DD here won't take his gift card.

So, in my not-so-humble opinion, the coffee and water have both been pretty good. I've had two cappuccinos, both of which have met my expectations, so I'm happy. And they're passing out free water at the conference like we're all dehydrated, so that's been fine as well.

Keith wouldn't know good coffee even if it said good coffee on the side of the cup.
