Back In The Saddle Again

Well, my vacation is officially over. Hit the office Monday night. Got some not very nice e-mails from people in the church. It took all of one minute for all the stress to come back that I lost over my vacation. I was looking forward to getting back and diving into church work. Got VBS next week and other things coming up. Isn't it funny how the devil knows when to use someone in the church or in the family to stick another dagger in the back to make things miserable for you. I am resolved to put my hand to the plow and put aside the garbage and continue doing what God has called me to do in this church. I don't plan on abdicating my leadership in this church anytime soon to anyone, whether they are members or not. I'm here for as long as God has me here. If He wants me to leave I won't waste a moment. Because it is God who has called me, not a person. To many in the past have tried to control me and black mail me in order to get control of the church. I did not let them. You know, many people want to be in leadership, but I doubt they want to pay the price of being a leader. Believe me, there is one to pay, and if you are in leadership somewhere and you haven't paid up yet, don't fret, you will. Besides all this, I am doing ok.

Grab a tissue, wipe your eyes, and get back to work.
