Tonight in our Crown group one of the girls brought up the question "What if a Christian won the lottery and wanted to tithe on it, would the church accept it?" Man, great question. One I have pondered but will probably never have to make. I remember the guy who won millions of dollars a few years back and tried to give three different churches some money. Two declined. The guy ended up getting arrested and becoming an alcoholic. I think he lost him money too.
Anyway, I know what the Bible says about gambling, don't do it. So what do you think. If a Christian put a buck down on a scratch ticket and wins a million bucks and then wanted to tithe on it, should the church accept it or reject it? A question to ponder.
